Forgot About Paper Warp! by Larry Lerew
Forgot About Paper Warp! by Larry Lerew
After everything dried I realized I didn't tape or staple down the watercolor paper to a sturdy board. If I want less warping I need to stretch the paper before I start. After I thought about it, the warping is welcome in this case since I was looking for surface texture and the warp adds to the texture. To check how the paper looks in a frame, I slipped it into a frame with foam board backing and I'm happy with the results. Now to prevent anymore warping I think I will tape the paper to a board before I begin to draw or paint.
