Experimental Time by Larry Lerew

I want more texture and interest in my painting surface. I've been toying with an idea for some time. Trying something new for me by gluing torn watercolor paper to the surface of a full sheet. I used mat medium and hopefully it will all stick. I hope to paint on this with acrylic and end with a gloss varnish so I can frame without glass.
