Snowy Pencil Value Sketch by Larry Lerew

Since it's winter and more snow is on its' way, I though I would work on a snow painting. I took several reference photos I made earlier and combined them into this snowy scenic view. I wanted a snow plowed lane or road with patches of ice and an old style home like a one room school house converted to a home found all over my area. I'm happy with darks and lights in this composition and the pattern possibilities on the icy road. Next I will redraw the guidelines on a sheet of larger drawing paper and prepare to mix media paint.
