We were traveling home from a family trip with my son driving while shot quick photo reference of the farms along the way on Interstate 81, Cumberland County, Pennsylvania. Back in the studio I sometimes review these photo reference shot I take on rainy days. I liked the silhouette shapes and fading look of these farm buildings. The power pole and trees hold the whole thing together. The soft subtle color changes are the best part of this painting.
