I was painting in Gettysburg this Sunday afternoon and headed back through Biglerville, Pennsylvania on my way home. I view the Apple Plant from route 34 and found a good spot to make a crayon drawing. I included the brick smoke stack, two of three water towers and what I think is the old Musselman's House at the plant. I also included some large apple crates stacked up on the left. When I got back to the studio to finish the wax drawing and add the watercolor I was quite pleased with the results.
