Gettysburg Rose Farm by Larry Lerew

The Rose Farm on the Gettysburg Battlefield is always beautiful to see. I'm always struck by the open land and fields around the farm I presume kept up by the National Park Service. My eye always goes to a single evergreen growing on the farm that is twice the height of the house and very narrow. It reminds me of the many civil war monuments placed all around the park.
