This painting was made from a charcoal sketch I made on a Susquehanna Valley Plein Air Painter Painout at Italian Lake, Division Street, Harrisburg, Pennsylvania yesterday. I love to draw and paint staircases and when I saw this one with the back lighting I was hooked. I'm including the sketch with the painting to show how I take a sketch and create a new piece of art.
